North Amercian Sales and Equipment Leader

Atlas Material Testing Technology is looking for the right candidate to join our team as North American Sales and Equipment Leader. This role will serve as both a Sales Leader as well as General Manager position. Within the North American Sales and Equipment Leader role, one will hold the responsibility of guiding the North American Regional Sales Managers as well as channel partners to include the development and execution of sales plans and initiatives ensuring growth within NA. As a General Manager responsibilities will include direction of the North American team including Sales, Operations and Engineering as well as ownership of Atlas’ key customers within the Detroit region. The NA Sales and Equipment Leader will evaluate, build, develop and manage the NA Sales team and Sales Representatives. This role will be responsible for Sales Forecast, the development of annual sales plans in support of Atlas organizational strategy and objectives as well as development and administration for sales compensation plans and targets. Both NA Engineering Leader and NA Operations Leader will report directly to this position, which will work closely with MARCOM and global product managers providing necessary data and updates.

Position Requirements:

Qualified candidates will have obtained an MBA, with a technical degree as a plus. Preferred experience will include three plus years in technology, capital equipment, and/or instrument sales. Experience should demonstrate direct responsibility for managing customer accounts as well as a documented history of profitable business growth. Ideal candidates will have obtained two or more years of management experience as well as demonstrated communication skills that include the ability to translate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
