Atlas Material Testing Technology is looking for the right candidate to join the team as a Sales Manager of our UK division. This position is responsible for the generation of revenue through the sale of products and services direct to end-users via face-to-face contact. While providing assistance to management in devising strategies that support targeted selling plans one will operate under minimal supervisor allowing wide latitude for independent judgment. The position will work to collaborate with the Sales Director and VP of EU Equipment in the development and implementation of strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve company targeted sales goals for products and services within respective territory. Sales process and activities for the assigned territory will be shaped by the Sales Manager to achieve or exceed revenue objectives through such efforts as the identification and development of sales inquires with both new and existing clients as well as the contacting and visiting of prospective customers to identify needs of the customer while targeting sales. With the directives of the Sales Director and in accordance with business reporting requirements this position will be responsible for the preparation of strategic sales reports which may include analysis of sales volume, performance, forecasts as well as additional reporting to determine effectiveness.

Position Requirements:

    Qualified candidates will have obtained a bachelor’s degree or equavalent training in business or sales management that represents over three to six years of sales experience within UK assigned territory. Previous work will demonstrate related experience selling equipment and services to diverse industries with an emphasis on selling to commercial laboratories, component manufacturers and raw materials manufactures/investment goods/automotive/chemical materisl important to have. Demonstrated in-dept sales knowledge, sales marketing techniques as well as knowledge of financial principles. Work experience may include operating knowledge of Atlas products/services with successful, proven selling skills. Position demands interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-management, internal and external customers.
