Atlas® presents the SUNTEST® XLS at the Interlakokraska’2008 in Moscow
Linsengericht (Germany)/Moscow (Russia), February 2008 – The 12th international exhibition and conference for paints and varnishes, the Interlakokraska, is being held between 4 and 7 March in Moscow. Atlas Material Testing Technology, which provides an extensive range of weathering and light fastness testing instruments designed for the paint, varnish and coatings industry, will be exhibiting in hall 1, booth 464.
At the show Atlas will present its SUNTEST XLS+ flatbed exposure system. The XLS+ is ideal for screening new materials for various end use environments, for quality control on incoming materials and components, and to conduct routine testing during production.
The SUNTEST XLS+ comes with a microprocessor control package to deliver a controlled and reproducible test. It consists of a 1000 cm2 exposure area to test flat and 3-D samples as well as components. A keypad control system with two-line LED display as well as clearly arranged operating and control elements simplify the performance of weathering and light fastness tests.
Monitoring and control of irradiance, Black Standard Temperature (BST) and monitoring and display of Chamber Air Temperature (CHT) are possible in addition to an irradiance control at 300 nm – 800 nm. Additional accessories like a water cooled specimen table, a flooding unit and a cooling device are available.
